Groupe Pontessera

A bridge is built one tile at a time.

The name joins two ideas — pons, a bridge, and tessera, a single tile in a mosaic. Each venture is a tile. The group is the bridge that holds them in relation to one another.

One corridor, one set of principles.

Pontessera forms and stewards ventures along a single corridor — from the Côte d'Azur to the Greater Mekong. The two ends of that line could not look more different. What carries across them is a way of working: build for the people a thing is meant to serve, keep what endures separate from what is merely fashionable, and stay patient enough to see whether an idea was right.

The work is less about owning companies than about holding them in relation — placing operating partners where execution belongs, and remaining engaged where judgment is needed.

Thinking comes first.

Before a venture, a question. Pontessera treats its published thinking as the first artifact — the place where a counterpart can understand how the group reasons before any conversation about what it does.

A quiet doorway.

Pontessera does not pitch. If something here resonates, the door is open.
